It all began when founder Stefan Gruber planted his first strawberry fields on his parents' farm in Prags and tinkered for a long time until he developed the ultimate jam recipe. He quickly convinced not only regional retailers of his jam from South Tyrol but also delicatessen dealers throughout Italy, Austria, and Germany. Alpe Pragas fruit spreads have a high fruit content, between 65% for organic jams and 75% for classic fruit spreads.

For us, Alpe Pragas means handmade jam happiness - carefully processed fruits, with full fruit aroma and little sugar, that turn every breakfast into a moment of bliss. The basis for all Alpe Pragas gourmet products are fruits of the best quality, some grown in their own fields, which are carefully cleaned, pitted, and cut into pieces by diligent hands before being gently cooked down briefly under vacuum at 65 degrees and filled into the typical square jars. The fruit always takes center stage in the taste, made from the best ingredients as natural and pure as possible, and the consistency of Alpe Pragas fruit spreads is unique. Of course, they are free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
