Antica Bottega Siciliana – Western Sicily's Pantry in a Jar

Behind Antica Bottega Siciliana is Salvatore Novara from Trapani, who, as a curator, brings together the products of small Sicilian producers under one brand. Instead of his own large-scale production, he offers what farming families on the island have been canning, centrifuging, and drying for generations: honey from the macchia, citrus marmalades from the hinterland of Trapani, pestos according to Western Sicilian tradition, and sun-dried tomatoes from the plains between Trapani and Marsala.

Curated, not industrial

Every product follows a traditional recipe and is free of unnecessary additives. The pistachios come from Sicilian groves, the Nubian red garlic in Pesto alla Trapanese is a Slow Food-listed variety from the area around Paceco. This way, every jar tastes of its origin – concentrated, honest, and unmistakably Sicilian.
