Questions about Rosé Wine – 2025?

We are happy to help you with Weingut Klumpp.

Klumpp Winery Organic Rosé - always a pleasure!

The Klumpp Organic Rosé Wine 2025 from Bruchsal in Baden is a dry estate wine cuvée made from 50% Blaufränkisch, 20% Spätburgunder, 20% St. Laurent and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Its intense, rich rosé is an eye-catcher even in the bottle. Juicy fruit aromas of strawberry and raspberry are in the foreground, while a spice reminiscent of bell pepper and white pepper makes the drinking experience exciting and encourages a second or third glass of Klumpp Winery's organic rosé estate wine. A refreshing rosé that is just as enjoyable on its own as it is with pizza, pasta or at a barbecue.

Winemaking – Klumpp in Baden

The 20-year-old vines for this rosé estate wine from Klumpp Winery grow on typical loam and loess soils in pure south-facing locations, partly on high plateaus, partly in steep slopes with up to 35% gradient.

The grapes are hand-picked in the early, cool morning hours. In the winery, the grapes and mash are not pumped, but rather flow into the fermentation tanks by gravity. Approximately 60% of this rosé is produced using the Saignée method, meaning pure juice extraction, which occurs through the grapes' own weight without pressing. The remaining 40% stay on the skins for over 8 hours, where the red wine skins can release their color into the juice, and are then gently pressed. A slow, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, resulting in this fruity-fresh wine.
