The Big Green Egg Cover is custom-made for the Big Green Egg MiniMax (on a carrier) and Big Green Egg Mini. It reliably protects the ceramic, glaze, and metal parts from rain, snow, UV radiation, and dust—even with long-term outdoor storage.

Material and Workmanship

The cover is made of weather-resistant polyester fabric with a water-repellent coating. An integrated ventilation opening prevents condensation from forming under the cover, thus ensuring a dry climate for the ceramic. UV-stable pigments keep the black surface colorfast even after years in the sun. The elastic drawstring cords at the bottom secure the cover firmly to the Egg body or stand, even in windy conditions.

When using it in the cold season, we recommend letting the Egg cool down completely before covering it. If the body is hot, heat could build up under the cover and, in the worst case, scorch the coating.

Suitable for the following models

This cover is tailored for the following BGE configurations: MiniMax · Mini. It fits snugly around the Egg (without a nest or table). It is not suitable for other model combinations—a cover that is too large will flap in the wind, and one that is too small simply won't fit over the body.
